GIFT Team

The GIFT Team meet regularly with the RE lead and the Headteacher. From this, they support and lead Class Liturgies, whole school Masses and special assemblies. The GIFT Team have taken part in projects such as the Peace Day Celebration at St Edmund's, Advent Collections for a local community group and food bank and followed the progression of the Dementia Garden at Church from inception to opening by the Bishop. Over the years, the GIFT Team have supported 'Hope in the Future' and were even given the chance to speak at the launch. The GIFT Team at CTK work closely with the GIFT Team at St Edmund's which is within our parish of 'Holy Trinity'. The Team have developed BIG Questions for the rest of the school, worked together to create new ideas for our Advent and Lent Stations and are focussing this year on the 'Big Listen' and the message of the SYNOD.

The CARITAS Ambassadors show us how to put 'Love in Action' within our own lives at all times. They have worked with Kath from 'Caritas' to receive training on how to become an 'Ambassador of Christ'. They organise collections for local charities and causes such as the Harvest collection for 'Salford Foodbank'. They led a campaign during Advent #BeeThere to develop ideas amongst all classes on how to share our love to all, especially those in great need. They support the GIFT Team when organising events for the community. The CARITAS Ambassadors also ensure opportunities are given to hand out the Caritas 'Love in Action' Award to those in school who deserve it.
